I am back

It has been awhile since my last post, but I am now back. My family went through a couple of weeks of sickness, during which I let this blog wither. I will say this though, relating to weight loss, I am currently down to 224lbs. According to the body mass scale in the doctors office, that officially makes me overweight, instead of obese. Being sick is a great way to lose weight. Aside from that, I have been busy at work and at home, which prevents me from eating as much as I might.

On the diabetic front. I ran out of testing supplies, and it is going to cost $100+ to refill them, since our insurance does not cover them. That is going to have to wait until the next paycheck. I am glad someone is out there making money off of sick people, and their health insurance, and the government, and......

On a business note. My lovely wife has started her own business, selling bath salts, soaps, etc.... If you happen to be a guy looking to buy something for a lady friend, then you should check out her store at Pamper Yourself. She has some really nice stuff out there, and I can personally attest to that since I use her products on a daily basis.

Thats all for now folks. Maybe I will startup the food journal again sometime soon, perhaps when I get my diabetic supplies.
